Dunhuang

Base on the Silk Road, an ancient trade route that connected the Western with the Middle East and Asia. Dunhuang is the first trading town reached by foreign merchants located in oasis of Gansu-Xinjiang desert region.

With the olfactory of the ancient silk road caravan where merchants and people from Eastern meet with Western exchanging their product. From Buddhism incense with peachy honey-like of Osmanthus absolute, Citruses, Tea leaf and Spices. These smells wafted through the air, somewhere in the middle of desert under the starry skies surrounded by the warmth of campfire.
